Neighbourhood Support New Zealand is the hub of a network of local groups, partners and sponsors. The Lottery Grants Board’s key funding objectives and request criteria are designed to ensure that lottery grants will contribute towards its vision of New Zealanders building strong sustainable communities together.   Community Operations services help to build strong sustainable communities, hapū and iwi in New Zealand, and work with and for community, hapū and iwi to support the building of community connection, innovation and the empowering of local people to create postive change in their communities.  Visit their website:

Hamilton City Council manages a range of funds which make grants to non-profit organisations in our community.  A key focus for the Council is ensuring as many organisations as possible are eligible to apply for community grants.   For more information visit:

The Community Organisation Grants Scheme or COGS provides grants to non-profit organisations delivering community-based social services that contribute to achieving locally-determined outcomes.

The Tindall Foundation is a private family foundation that gives to organisations and communities throughout Aotearoa New Zealand by way of donations, training, capacity building and research, and by partnering with others.

WEL Energy Trust supports us through a generous 'quick response’ grant to support the volunteers providing services to Neighbourhood Support members.

As part of a national agreement, Bunnings Warehouse in Hamilton provides Neighbourhood Support with facilities to conduct regular Awareness Tables in their stores.  We are very grateful to Bunnings for this accommodation.

Dragon Community Trust Ltd is a non-profit company that operates gaming machines across the country to raise funds for the community.   We are grateful to the Trust for granting us funding for a replacement event gazebo for our volunteers.

Dragon was set up to support the local community where the funds are generated and give priority funding to Asian organisations within the local community, in particular to the young and elderly members of the Asian community.
