Neighbourhood Support New Zealand is the hub of a network of local groups, partners and sponsors. Our common purpose is to create safe and caring neighbourhoods and communities, reducing the incidences and effects of criminal offending, building community resilience and strengthening community networks to improve the quality of life. The Lottery Grants Board’s key funding objectives and request criteria are designed to ensure that lottery grants will contribute towards its vision of New Zealanders building strong sustainable communities together. Community Operations services help to build strong sustainable communities, hapū and iwi in New Zealand, and work with and for community, hapū and iwi to support the building of community connection, innovation and the empowering of local people to create postive change in their communities.
